Oh, to have good friends who are talented
Being blessed with many amazing friends, I have learned many things from them. One is, always help each other out whenever possible because you know you’ll need help sometime and they’ll be right there for you.
I have many talented friends, from a fitness and health guru, to a talented graphic designer, to an awesome photographer, to a beautiful dancer, to an amazing singer, all of the talents!!!
So I hope to post about some of these awesome people over the next little bit so I can make sure I give back a little love because they have given me oh so much.
Today— all of the love goes to Lawrence Fajardo
Some might say an unlikely friendship, seeing as we met in a work environment that neither of us were utilizing our talents, we were both working for the man and trying to make the money. Lawrence is was an awesome guy, who I would annoy on occasion to help me out with some sort of issue I was having at work with my office space or when I continuously forgot my pass card and would require a new one. He was super friendly and had a smile on his face, which made me want to be his friend. Soon after that I found out about this love for photography, and my love for his AMAZING work. Like I’m talking, Toronto has never looked better photography. He was kind enough to take on my annoying and consistent conversations about music and him becoming the new photographer for my site (I wasn’t as lucky when I tried to con him into doing my wedding).
Lawrence captured the essence of this album, more than I had ever imagined in my head. I put my full trust in him and was not disappointed. I could not have picked a better photographer for this project. I feel like it was even more special because he was the person taking the photos, a friend. When you have a super important project, it is more than about money and time, it is about love and caring about making it perfect, Lawrence made it perfect. He genuinely cared about getting the right shots, letting me run around and drag him everywhere for endless hours (sorry) and always did everything with a smile and a laugh.
I am blessed to have many talented friends, and I am truly grateful for Lawrence. Without him this website would be nothing, my album would not be the same, and the true image would not have been captured. He just gets it!
Lawrence—you have found your gift, keep going <3
